CADS is a family-run web design studio on Swadlincote Road in Woodville, and we've been building websites for local businesses since 1990. How much does a website cost?
It depends on what the site needs to do — a brochure site for a local trade is a different job to a WooCommerce store with delivery rules and payment gateways. Every project is quoted individually and fixed before we start, so there are no surprises partway through. Tell us what you have in mind and we'll give you a straight answer.
How long does a website take to build?
Smaller sites and re-designs are usually turned around in a few weeks; larger builds with e-commerce or custom features take longer. We agree the timeline with you up front and keep you involved at every stage — you'll never be left wondering where things are.
Do you only work with businesses near Swadlincote?
Most of our clients are local — Swadlincote, Burton upon Trent, Derby, Ashby de la Zouch and the surrounding towns — because being able to meet face-to-face is part of how we work. Yes. We build on WordPress, so you can edit text, images, products and blog posts without touching code. We'll show you how before launch — and if you'd rather not deal with any of it, our care plans cover updates for you.
Who owns the website — and what about hosting?
You do. The domain, the content and the site itself are yours. We offer managed UK hosting with backups, SSL and security updates if you want everything under one roof — but you're never locked in, and if you ever wanted to move the site elsewhere, you could.
